Welcome to Cub Scout Pack 226. Our Pack includes 1st through 5th grade boys from Gill Elementary School, Power Elementary and the surrounding area in Farmington Hills and Farmington, Michigan. Together our boys, parents, and leaders maintain a fun, safe environment that teaches our Tigers, Bears, Wolves, and Webelos the values and morals they need to become outstanding citizens in our community.

Gentlemen, Start Your Engines!

2015 Pinewood Derby

The big derby event is Saturday, Feb. 7th at Gill Cafe.  SET-UP begins Friday Night Feb. 6th in the Cafe/Gym.
PWD Race Car Kits have been handed out -- see your Den Leader if you did not get your free kit!!  Cars will take a few days to assemble, so don't wait until Race-day to open your kit.

Volunteer for Stations at PWD - There  are 8-9 stations that need attendees throughout the day - including Track Masters, Pit Crew, Awards Tally, and Lunch Set Up. We are looking for both experienced families, and those who want to learn (Wolf & Web I Dens run PWD next year BTW, this is great way to prepare...). Each Family participating in PWD needs to Sign-up for Fri Night SET-UP or CLEAN UP regardless of station volunteer. Use this link to complete your sign-up:

Admission is free for Cub Scouts & kids under 5yrs. Fee is $4 for everyone else -- cost helps to cover all lunch food and room rental for the Main Event. Provide your Den Leader with an total count for your family ASAP so we have food for you -- All Racers need to provide a "Race Name" as well. All fees are collected at the door on Race Day. Final Check-In closes at 9:30 am Race Day.

Review Rules carefully for all entrees.

The Check-in weigh-station will be available Fri. at 7:00 pm to pre-weigh & measure your race cars to ensure you are ready for final check in Sat morning.

Join Scouting Night with Gill Pack 226!

Pack 226 serves students and friends of Gill Elementary
Who: All boys currently in 1– 5 Grade

You and your son are invited to an informational evening hosted by Pack 226.  The purpose of this meeting is to introduce parents and boys to the Cub Scout program. Boys may join scouts that night, and will become eligible to participate in all our exciting activities.

Cub Scouting is about fun with a purpose—camping and hiking, building things like race cars and rockets, visiting unique places, trying new sports and hobbies, crafts and more. Boys earn badges and awards as they explore with their family and with the other scouts in the pack.
Apart from the fun and excitement, the aim of Cub Scouting is to help boys grow into good citizens and future leaders. While boys are having fun, they build character and confidence. They learn core values that last a lifetime: teamwork, responsibility, service, and fitness.
If you’d like more information, contact Cubmaster Josh Fraley at

Why Join the Cub Scouts?
Scouting reinforces the skills and values we want our sons to learn while they're having fun. Click here for more reasons to join the Cub Scouts.

How do I join?
Cub Scouting is open to any boy in 1st through 5th grade. For more information, contact one of the Cubmasters.

Scouting is for parents, too!
Active, committed Leaders and parents are the heart and soul of a successful Pack. You don't need to have any special abilities to make a huge difference in a boy's life. Volunteer to help at one of our many events; you'll be glad you did!
